On the quest for smooth skin? In addition to eating healthy and using safe products, exfoliating is a MUST.

You want to remove the dead skin cells to reveal your natural glow. :-) (By the way, be sure to exfoliate with natural ingredients–save the chemical peels for the science lab.) You can always make your own scrubs for exfoliating, but if you don’t have the time (or desire) to do so, try this beauty treasure.

I adore this Honey Walnut Body Polish from Christine Gant’s Brown Butter Beauty. When I first read about this product, I did a little research to find out more about this company. Right away, I saw that Brown Butter Beauty products are free from the “usual suspects” on the toxin list: “No parabens, sulfates, synthetic dyes, phthalates, mineral or petroleum oils.”  Sounds great to me! I’m sold.

When I opened the jar of the body polish, I was immediately captivated by the scent. There is an array of scents to choose from for your polish: almond, peppermint, honey, and….(yes!) chocolate.  After applying and rinsing off the body polish, I noticed that my skin was indelibly soft, even the normally “rough” areas (elbows and knees).  This one is definitely a keeper.

Tip: Apply this polish before shaving for amazingly smooth skin…and no nicks!

Have you used Brown Butter Beauty Products by Christine Gant before? Which ones do you like?

  1. I’ve never used her products before but I have made my own Coffee Brown Sugar Body Scrub and it doesn’t leave the skin really soft and ready for a nice shave. My favorite store bought brand of exfoliants are from The Body Shop. Although neither is organic. Which is why I had to stop purchasing them.

  2. Sly, I think you’ll love these products. The great thing about natural products is, you can experiment with different ingredients (whatever you have in your kitchen) to find what works for you. :-)

  3. I’m so glad to have found your site! I just (like 2 weeks ago) started making my own facial masks – I like my avocado & honey the best right now. Just the first small step toward taking better care of my skin and body. How do I follow this blog?

  4. Welcome, Shumpy! Avocado and honey mask sounds delightful! You’ll have to share your recipe.
