A number of readers have e-mailed me asking me for advice about different issues. Thanks! Keep the questions coming. I’ll have posts about these topics coming soon!

I’d like to hear from you. What resolutions have you made towards adopting a healthier lifestyle? Eat less fast food, go to the gym (my own resolution), improve your hair and skin?

  1. GREAT SITE!!!!! I have resolved to definitely drink more water. Luckily, so far so good. I have also found myself snacking on more healthy foods like fruits and nuts versus running to the snack machine for a bag of Ruffles. I have heard that even the smallest strides produce big lifestyle results. IT’S TRUE because I am sleeping better, have more energy, and so much more! Can’t wait to see other ideas….

  2. Great site!
    1. Drink more water
    2. Get more sleep
    3. Have more fun
    4. Exercise CONSISTENTLY
    5. Find the perfect paraben-free, cone-free, petroleum-free, mineral oil-free concealer in the perfect shade for me.

  3. This year I made a very small and managable resolution. One of my co-workers sets out a candy bowl filled with chocolate every afternoon. Snacking on that candy had become a very bad habit that was slowly adding additional pounds. I decided that this year instead of trying to be a superhero, I would try to do one very small thing – stay away from the bowl, and so far I have been successful and my cravings for the candy in the bowl have gone away :)

  4. @Jamika: Congrats on your success thus far!

@savvybrown: Thanks! I am with you on the resolution to exercise more. When you find that concealer, come and share so we can spread the word! :-)

@Alesia: Good for you!!! Candy bowls are very tempting, lol. There is an article in the latest issue of Body and Soul magazine that talks about the psychological aspect of snacking at work. Very interesting.

  5. Definitely drink more water too! This one is quite hard for me…The last time i drank the recommended glasses of water per day was when I was pregnant, so I guess it is doable :-)
I also plan to eat less fast foods and eat more veggies and fruits. Not only for myself but for my family too.

  6. Nangi, that’s great. I will have a post about incorporating more water in your diet soon. I never drank it when I was younger (I was a Dr. Pepper girl, lol.) Now, I can’t get enough. I know you’re going to meet your goals too. ;-)
